The strong Mijatović was the first to threaten our team when, in the 18th minute, after Radonjić's cross from the break, he shot past Mihajlović's post. Krivokapić and Radonjić combined nicely, but the latter's shot from the edge of the penalty area ended up in the arms of Mihajlović in the 23rd minute. Pirgić also threatened with a header five minutes later, but he shot over the goal.

Pirgić had the best opportunity in the first half of the game, when in the 35th minute he entered the middle from the right flank and shot into the net, and Mihajlović parried the shot and sent the ball into the corner. On the other side, Partizan almost took advantage of Miladinović's run when Ćelić had an empty goal in front of him and shot, and Miranović heroically kicked the ball off the goal line with a sliding start.

And Zvezda deservedly took the lead in the 57th minute when Pirgić braced himself and laid the ball for Radonjić, who entered the penalty area and beat Mihajlović with a powerful shot. Brajić could have put the point on the match in the 73rd minute, but it seemed that the ball bounced off him just before he was going to catch it, and it went over the goal. The home team was left with a player less in the last 15 minutes when Nikolić hit Mijatović without the ball, but also for no reason.

The youngsters of Crvena zvezda got closer to their eternal rival, eight points behind, six rounds before the end of the season, although it is already known that our junior selection, thanks to the first team, will play in the Champions League for youth next season.
