Youth in the Champions League

Zoran Rendulić's men have an important test ahead of them, as much as today, considering that the eternal derby awaits them from 11 am, but they will be able to be a shade lighter, because they will play in Europe next season as well. There is no doubt that our youth team has established itself as a standard participant in the Youth Champions League, given that we were part of the last four cycles, and that the corona virus prevented us from making it five, when the competition was canceled.

In the first season (selection 2001) we finished the competition in the group stage, in the second (selection 2002) we managed to place among the 16 best teams in Europe, in the third (selection 2004) we finished the competition in the second round of the "Champion's Path", yes a year later, the 2005 selection would repeat it that result.

Now our juniors will be placed in the group stage, with the young teams of the teams that will compete with the seniors of Crvena zvezda.
