Youngsters ready for Monaco

The fact that we have the opportunity to compete with excellent football academies and learn, and at the same time progress, is extremely important for us. We want to compete with the best and constantly grow from match to match. We will face a serious, physically dominant opponent and we will do our best to represent Red Star in the right way on the European stage - said Nenad Milijaš.

The youngest in the team - Vasilije Kostov is the engine of the midfield of our juniors, and the footballer born in 2008 is looking forward to another meeting in the Champions League.

- The representative break is behind us, and after that a good match in the championship against Metalac. We raised our confidence which is important for us as a team. We know each other well and there is a positive atmosphere in the team. I can't wait for the match with Monaco, because we know that it is a strong opponent. They defeated Barcelona, and then suffered a defeat against Dinamo on the away field. The professional staff prepares us for the game, as well as for the demands they want us to fulfill. Therefore, I believe that with our quality and good preparation for the match, we can achieve a positive result. We are looking forward to the game and that we will have the opportunity to fight for Zvezda colors in the Champions League - said the young Kostov.
