Ognjen Mimović - Both talent and hard work

The guy from the generation of 2004 showed great desire on the field from the very start of his career, and due to his effort and commitment, everything is now paying off. He made his debut last season at the Maracana, in a duel with Čukarički, and on his first appearance he already attracted the attention of the fans.

After a brilliant preparation period in Zlatibor and in Russia, he gained the trust of the head of the coaching staff - Vladan Milojević, which he uses in an exceptional way, leaving his heart on the field whenever he gets the chance to play.

The director of the Crvena Zvezda Youth School, Nikola Jelić, spoke highly of the talented right back, and he also revealed the anecdote that Mimović came to our club as a forward midfielder.

- Mimović is an extraordinary guy, calm, withdrawn, who knows exactly what his task is. I remember when we went to pick him up in Gornji Milanovac. He grew up there in our development school, and Zoran Ostojić Cole is most responsible for his progress. When he came to Maracana, he played in more offensive positions, while we estimated that he would perform best on the right flank, which turned out to be correct in the end. I believe that Mimović will be our great hope, and I am glad that after Nedeljković, another talent of ours denies the stories that our Youth School does not produce good defenders - underlined Jelić.
