The eighth "Star Monday" was held

The general director of our club - Zvezdan Terzić addressed the attendees.

- Dear stars, dear firs and pines, first of all I want to congratulate you on the awards you received. I expect that they will only be an incentive for you to continue working, to be even better and more successful, but also to always be aware of this jersey you are wearing. It is not easy to be a Red Star athlete, the expectations are high, as is the pressure. It is not only trophies and successes that are expected of you, but to be exemplary people and personalities. We invest a lot, first of all, in youth schools. The youth school is a very important segment of all our clubs within the Sports Society, from the football club to all the others. I was in Paris seven days ago for the selection for the best player in the world and I can't tell you how impressed I am. I had the opportunity to talk and get to know the best player in the world, Rodri. There was a lot of controversy because many favored another player, Real Madrid player - Vinicius to be the best player in the world. However, they chose Rodri from a hundred different newsrooms and I can't tell you how glad I am that Rodri is the best player in the world. I highly recommend you all to follow Rodri's life, work and commitment. When he won the Ballon d'Or he said that he is different from the others, that he is an ordinary guy who just wants to succeed in life. He doesn't have any tattoos, he doesn't have social networks, he doesn't act like spoiled stars - Vinicius. He deserved what was happening to him, he is a humble guy. I would like all of you to look like Rodrigo, especially our football players. We see and feel that new generations are coming, that coaches have more and more problems to break some resistance and rebellion in them, that social networks have made our young players look for idols in some wrong people. Rodri is an example of the first athlete, it must be an example of what a Red Star player should look like, and not for players to get tattoos at the age of 16 or 17. This must not be an example of the athletes of our collective, because it is only the beginning of some other negativity brought by the new time, and Crvena zvezda, as the bearer of the code, the value system, must fight and be an example of some traditional values that Serbia has and our club as the biggest on these areas. Finally, I would like to congratulate the Fencing Club on this great success, we are glad that we contributed at least a little to their result from the side of the football club and we will continue to help all of you, so that you can achieve the best possible results and be the best people possible. Congratulations and thank you - said Zvezdan Terzić.

The Red Star Fencing Club recently won the title of European Vice-Champion, and the representatives of the team expressed their special gratitude for their selfless support to FC Red Star and the general director of our club - Zvezdan Terzić, to whom they presented a symbolic gift.

- The results would not have been possible without the complete support of the club and the Sports Association. I would like to take the opportunity to thank the chairman of the Board of Directors - Zvezdan Terzić, without whose support this project would not have been possible. We have prepared a symbolic gift, which is a Champions League flag with the signatures of all members of our team - pointed out Svetlana Petronijević, representative of the Red Star Fencing Club.

The award for the best athlete of the month of June went to the youth of our club - Vasilija Kostov, who became the champion of Serbia together with the cadet selection in the previous competition year. The award "Zvezda bor" was presented to our young player by the legendary football player and the fourth star of Zvezda - Vladimir Petrović Pižon.

- I would like to thank all the people from SD Crvena zvezda. This recognition is the result of dedicated work, but also the help I have from teammates and coaches. The "Zvezdin bor" award is just an incentive to continue working even harder - Kostov pointed out.
