Our first team player Nenad Krstičić said goodbye to his Red Star in a magical way, as a winner of the double crown. A gift, on behalf of the club, before the game with Novi Pazar, was presented to him by the captain - Milan Borjan.
Krsticić started his career in OFK Belgrade, where he played for the senior team when he was only 17 years old, and was one of the best footballers in that season, which could not go unnoticed by the leaders of Sampdoria, who snapped him up as soon as he came of age. He spent eight years in Italy, playing precisely for Sampdoria (101 games and three goals), but also for Bologna (16 games), and then went to Alaves, where he scored three goals in 20 matches and finally borrowed the equipment of his favorite club. - Red stars. It was in August 2017, and in the meantime he also played for the Greek AEK (94 games and five goals), but, as he himself openly said, he was always thinking about returning to Zvezda. And so it was, in July 2021, Krsticic returned to his beloved club where, today, with 135 games played and eight goals scored, he said goodbye to it.
Neno, thank you for everything, you are forever a part of your Red Star!
