Let the spectacle of last year be repeated - Maracana celebrates its 61st birthday

In the previous competitive year, our team's football players won a 2:1 victory over the Novi Pazar team in the sixth round of the championship. The match was played on September 2, a day after the official opening date of our Maracana, which was marked on September 1, 1963. In the stands, 23 thousand spectators cheered the red and white team to victory, which was magnified by the goals of Aleksandar Dragović and Gelor Kanga.

The star players were definitely the 12th player of our team and for the umpteenth time they celebrated the birthday of the biggest Serbian stadium and the home of all lovers of red and white colors in a magnificent way. The beautiful choreography on the north side of the stadium gave a special note to the birthday celebration, and the performance in the 60th minute of the game indicated the symbolism of the years of existence of the "Rajko Mitić" stadium.

A season later, fans will have the opportunity to fill the stadium again in large numbers and mark the Maracana's 61st birthday. Vladan Milojević's chosen ones will welcome Napredak from Kruševac on Saturday, September 14, and the entrance is free.

In addition to the birthday party, the stars will have the opportunity to greet the participants of the Champions League, as well as the new reinforcements of Radonjić, Silas and Krunić.
