The football players of our development team Graficara will start the new season this coming weekend, led by the young strategist Marko Neđić. The team from Senjak made demanding preparations, and one of the most talented coaches summarized the entire work.
- We did everything as planned during the preparatory period. The first part of the training was done in Belgrade, and the second in Zlatibor, so that the last week we would also work on our field. During the control matches, we had the opportunity to "test" all the football players, especially the players who joined the team this summer. Everyone got a chance, because the result was not our goal, but we wanted to see the guys on the field and get a clear picture of what we can expect from whom during the season. We are satisfied with what was shown, above all the attitude of the players and the requirements met during the training sessions. That was the most important thing for us. We are ready and waiting for the start of the championship - Marko Neđić began.
The coach of the popular Grafos stated that the backbone of his team was retained, as well as that the primary task of the Crvena Zvezda development team did not change even before the start of the 2024/25 season.
- A large number of players remained in the team compared to the previous season. We also have players from the first team of Crvena zvezda - Veljko Milosavljević and Andrija Maksimović. Surely we are "older" and more experienced for one season. Boys who had just experienced the level of senior football last season are expected to show progress and be real this competitive year. Our overriding goal is the development of football players, as it is every year. We work intensively on the preparation of players for the next level, whether it is the first team of Zvezda or a higher level of competition, that is, a team that competes in the Super League of Serbia.
Also, the head of the professional staff of the team from Senjak expressed expectations before the first match of the new season, which is scheduled for Saturday, August 3, at 5:30 p.m. on the Youth School grounds.
- We respect the Sloboda team and know that it is a quality opponent. We have to enter the match with a dose of caution, because Sloboda is a good team, but we still look at ourselves first. We are focused on how our players will develop and what they will provide on the field. Our ambitions are to be well placed in the First League of Serbia, but the priority remains the preparation of players for the first team of Crvena zvezda - Neđić concluded.
