Youth and the future - 11 new signings

The contracts were extended by: Luka Stojsavljević (2005, left back) and Nemanja Vidojević (2004, stopper).

The new professionals of our club are: Ivan Nikčević (2004, point guard), Luka Sandulović (2004, winger), Luka Bubanja (2005, left back), Dušan Višnjić (2006, goalkeeper), Andrej Pavlović (2007, stopper), Đorđe Ranković (2007, winger), Pavle Štulić (2008, offensive midfielder), Leon Ivanović (2008, left back), Đorđe Vranić (2008, stopper).

Club president Svetozar Mijailović addressed the young talents of Crvena zvezda.

- Today is a big day for children who sign professional contracts, for their parents and closest family members. This is a solemn moment, but also a difficult start to the realization of a football career and the first step that the children who will sign the contracts today have earned with their work and attitude towards football as a sport. In order to become a top soccer player, you have to put in a lot of work and effort. It is only one segment of the goal that you as people have set, as well as your parents who support you unconditionally. Another important segment is how to grow as a person, for example, your education. Without it, there is no successful career and all those who think that only playing football is the solution in life are mistaken. There are few people who can boast of a top-notch career without achieving success in this second segment, which is very important for life. It will take hard work, the coaches will tell you more about that, as they have done so far. I just want to warn parents that everything depends on their children, so dedicate yourself to them, because it will be the best investment you will have in your life. Crvena zvezda wants to give a chance to every boy who has the goal of eventually ending up in the first team of our club, but also good conditions for their development. Football is very present in our country, as well as in the whole world, and all the knowledge acquired here, if applied in our club, which is the wish of all the children who sign the contract, the goal will be achieved. I wish you happiness, health and further improvement. Good luck with your first contract, and I believe that you will have many more in your life - said Svetozar Mijailović.
