Vladan Milojević summed up the first match of the play-offs of the qualifications for the Champions League, in which Zvezda was defeated by Bodø/Glimt with a score of 2-1, and the rematch awaits us on 28 August.

- The idea was not to fall into their trap, because it happened to other clubs as well. We have come to play on an unfamiliar field. We don't train on artificial surfaces and we don't play. Their pitch was wet, fast, the players were fast, and it happened to others that they came to Bode and fell into the trap. We wanted to shorten their spaces, not to let them pass. We should have been more specific with the ball, but you play as much as your opponent lets you. We found after model players who made some changes. We certainly shouldn't have conceded the first goal, I didn't even see the second one as good. The idea was therefore to go out from under the low or middle block and to close their spaces - Milojević explained the tactic at the beginning of the press conference.

The optimist is about to rematch.

- I am always an optimist. This is the first half and it ended this way. The match in Belgrade is in eight days. At the moment, Bode is closer to going through, but we have 90 minutes in front of our audience and we want to prepare as well as possible for that.

He also addressed the question of whether one of the reservists forced himself on him.

- No one can impose themselves on me in 10 or 15 minutes. The plan was to try with some players and it's not an alibi, but you saw that we had problems because of the pitch. Some players have never played on this kind of pitch with this kind of pressure. All that said, Bode is fantastic, and I've never seen anyone on this pitch be this good. No wonder it's hard for everyone to play here, and I'm not surprised, but now we feel it too.

He does not want to apostrophize the guilty, as Mr. Vladan Milojević never does.

- I will not comment on whether someone is bad. You talk about the defenders, and they all gave their best, including Seol, and Mimović, who is Zvezda's future, and Rodić. We needed Rodić because of his left leg, you saw what kind of player Hauge is, a national team player. The players give their best, I train them and know them, but the opponent simply does not allow something. Bode is an atypical team, they press a lot, but still play a good transition. They left a great impression on me, because of that discipline and yet quickness. We will prepare for the second leg as best we can. We have Rodić, Mimović and Seol, who is right-footed and plays left-handed. We have three backs. Rodić has that experience of playing on the "expert", and we watched that too. You saw Elšnik and Hwang how much energy they gave, and how much the field drained it. We need to watch that intensity, where Bode doesn't have the ball out of play for even two seconds. They immediately return it and run, that's their style.

Milojević believes in the power of a full Maracana.

- It's time to rest, but I hope for a full Maracana. We know which club we are in and we will do our best. We will leave our hearts on the field, because we have to and we want to. We have the desire to play in the Champions League. I just hope that all the players will be ready for the second leg.

He also explained why he gave the chance to Mimović, who then scored a goal.

- Every player on the bench must expect to enter the game. Everyone is ready. It's a tactical idea, a change. Not much philosophy here.

He continued to talk about Bode in choice words.

- Those are superlatives, but Bode is really a team that can be seen to have been created for years. They know what they want, they play with a lot of intensity. Again, each team has its strengths and weaknesses. If there is no such pressure, there are obviously problems. It is up to us to analyze it and find a solution in Belgrade. The history, the coat of arms and the fans, as well as the fact that we are representing Serbia, clearly say that we will leave our hearts on the field and I hope to qualify for the Champions League.

Again, Milojević did not want to blame anyone.

- Why are you asking me to apostrophize anyone? Does it matter? No one is to blame but me. Has anyone received it badly, played this way, or that way? I will answer every question, but I will not make it appear that any of the players are guilty. It is my responsibility, because I choose the players, change them, create tactics. I have maximum confidence in them - underlined Milojević.
