Tomorrow, from 6:30 p.m., Crvena zvezda players will visit TSC in the semi-finals of the Serbian Cup, and the expectations before the match were expressed by the head of our team's coaching staff, Miloš Milojević.

- I expect good football and an open game of both teams, with the desire to repeat our game from the previous match and win, because it is the passing that is most important. We prepare and work as if this is the main goal. Most of the players are ready for the match, we have small problems with the virus, but nothing serious - started Milojević.

There is no doubt that the home field plays a big role in cup matches.

- It is certainly an advantage for the rival that the game is played in Bačka Topola, because everyone likes to be the host and we also know how much the support of the fans pleases, and how many more of them would be at the Maracana than it is possible to be away. They have the advantage, but we have to rely on our game. We know the fans will come and support us. I believe in what we are doing and in moving on.

In the previous round, Zvezda advanced after penalty kicks.

- Penalties are not practiced the day before the game, but we constantly and based on some principles look at what and how we do, so that we know accordingly who can be the performer, if it comes to that.

The previous two meetings with TSC were marked by goals from Pešić and Bukari.

- I wouldn't complain if they continue to score, nor if they break Ivanić or Katai now. It is only important to play well and pass, and who is the scorer is secondary.

The current generation is just two wins away from winning a third double crown in a row.

- A great motive, such an opportunity is not often presented, and this generation has done a lot for the club and now energy, motivation and desire must be found, and the last atom of strength must be invested and reach the goal. With that, the current generation would rank among the cream of Red Star history. However, one should not be burdened with records, but go step by step. We want to play well and pass, so we'll see what and how.

Milojević also referred to the form of Ivanić and Kanga.

- As for Ivanić, he rested in the previous match, although he could have played all 90 minutes, but we wanted to distribute the minutes, so I think he will be eager and ready to play against TSC. As for Kanga, I don't think he's out of the game. Form and beauty are fleeting things, but form can return, so it will be Kanga right when it is most needed, be it tomorrow or, God willing, in the final, but it is normal to oscillate. I don't think it's drastic, it's just that he's used us all to a high level of games, so maybe that's why he seems to be in a slump.

Dilemma - Rodić or Azarov?

- I don't want to reveal who will play tomorrow and give the opponent a starting point before the game. However, Azarov is getting up, Rodić is a little out of rhythm, but he is coming back. It's not the only match, Red Star certainly needs both of them.

There is no doubt that this season the duels between Red Star and TSC are a real football treat.

- Compared to the eternal derby, it is a different game, because you prepare it in a different way and the psychological charge cannot be compared. I know both as a member of the coaching staff and now as a boss what kind of pressure there is before the derby, and I think that it does nothing for football. Maybe it's because Zvezda and Partizan are the only big rivals, and it's not like 35 years ago when you had more teams and a better quality of football, but everything is "life or death", so you wake up in spasms, while the match with TSC -om football in full. It creates a nice atmosphere, it gives a complete picture. As far as derbies are concerned, we often don't see football in the second half, but fight, war and punches. However, we also saw good first halves in the match at JNA, even here when we won 1:0, that's a model of what it should look like. It takes patience for it to be the whole 90 minutes.

Only respect for colleague Lazetić.

- We have an excellent relationship, he does a good job, but I am like that with all my colleagues, I respect them and speak in superlatives, not out of courtesy, but I believe that everyone is doing the best possible under the given circumstances. Lazetić has continuity and support, along with the idea he instilled in the players, and you can see that, that regardless of the composition, they do not deviate from their philosophy, and that is likable. I wish him the best in every game, except against Zvezda - underlined Milojević.
