The head of our team's coaching staff, Miloš Milojević, expressed expectations before the 4th round of the playoffs, which the Red Star players will play on the away field against the Voždovac team tomorrow at 7 p.m.
The two great tragedies that befell the Serbian people deeply affected the first team members of our club, who started Saturday's training session with a minute of silence to honor all the victims.
- A great tragedy has befallen us, which has affected everyone, it is felt in the air. It is difficult to say anything while remaining moderate and expressing support. We can only do what is in our power and hope that such things will not happen again - said Miloš Milojević.
The strategist of our team said that all players are ready, but also that special attention will be paid to the fact that the game is played on artificial grass when selecting the starting 11.
- The players are ready, we have a couple of guys who, due to the nature of their injuries, are not suitable to play on artificial grass. Everyone else is ready, we have 25 players we can count on. Now it's up to us to choose the right 11 who will play a good game against Voždovac and contribute to a positive outcome.
Miloš Milojević also spoke about the minutes played by Uroš Spajić, who recently returned to the field in style.
- As for Spajić, the advice of the medical service is that he would not like playing on an artificial surface, but certainly from the next round and the match in the Serbian Cup he should play more than he has played so far .
Milojević pointed out that Pešić has recovered and will be ready for the game against Voždovac.
- You cannot put in the protocol a player who is injured, so we did not want to take unnecessary risks when we have Rakonjec, Mijatović and Katai who can meet the requirements of that position. Now he is ready, we will need him in the final and the Serbian Cup, I believe that he will be able to play at least 50 or 60 minutes tomorrow.
The head of our team's coaching staff recalled the previous duel with the Voždovac team.
- I certainly expect a different match, when you play 11 on 10 and have a positive result, a lot of things open up. The Voždovac team has a special style of play, which includes possession from the goalkeeper, a lot of passes and short passes, a lot of individual actions of their wing players. I don't think they will change it, because they never have. It is up to us to find a way to neutralize their game and impose our own.
Miloš Milojević is sure that the players who grew up in our Youth School and now play in the Voždovac team will have an additional motivation.
- They certainly have the motivation to show that, in addition to leaving our school, they may have deserved a little more minutes and attention. However, the motive will also be present in the players of Crvena zvezda, with the desire to triumph, to continue the winning streak and to show themselves in the best possible light - concluded Miloš Milojević.
