Milojević: An opportunity for the fans to greet the players

A large number of congratulations arrived at the address of the head of the red and white professional staff after winning the Serbian Cup.

- I can't single out whose congratulation meant the most, they are all important. The most important are certainly the congratulations of the players and the coaching staff, because I spend the most time with them, as if we live together. We celebrated winning the Serbian Cup, and we will celebrate on Sunday when we officially take the title.

Milojević will have all the players available for the game against Novi Pazar.

- Everyone is physically ready for the game. Unfortunately, we have 20 places again, plus two goalkeepers, and 25 players in the roster, so someone will be missing, but I think the group has been correct so far. The most prepared players always played and we tried to make sure that everyone got minutes.

Aleksandar Katai is currently in second place on the list of scorers in the Super League of Serbia with 15 goals scored, and on Sunday he will have the opportunity to fight for the first position as well.

- Katai will play, it is important for Red Star to try to have the league's top scorer. I think it would mean something to him on a personal level as well. If he is ready and if he feels physically good enough to play, I think he should be on the field.

Miloš Milojević pointed out that there will be changes in the team, but that it will not only consist of bonus players.

- We'll see. I don't see it that way, I think the title celebration is an opportunity for the fans to salute the players, who carried the biggest burden. Of course there will be some changes in the team, but it will not only concern the bonus players.

The strategist of our team also answered the question of whether the red and whites will manage to reach the figure of 100 scored goals.

- We respect the team of Novi Pazar, it would not be correct to talk like that. We know that we struggled with them in Novi Pazar, the situation is different now, but I say it's the last game. It is not so important that we reach 100 goals, it is important that we score goals. We scored a lot of chances, the percentage of expected goals is much higher than the ones we scored. We had a chance to reach that figure, but we didn't. At the end of the day, our main goal is to win the game tomorrow and end the season triumphantly, so that the next one will continue like that.

The changed composition of the Novi Pazar team will not disturb the players of Crvena zvezda, who, as Miloš Milojević pointed out, are preparing for the duel, first of all, focusing on their game.

- It won't make the game more difficult. We prepare the match 80 percent by focusing on our game and what we do. With respect for the opponents, we prepare them as well, we direct some details in that direction, but everything we played was based on our philosophy and principles.

When asked whether young Jovan Miladinović will be in goal, the head of the coaching staff did not give a specific answer.

- I have to see that with my colleague, the goalkeeper coach.

The congratulations and praise of the CEO Zvezdan Terzić are extremely significant.

- I certainly appreciate the praise of Mr. Terzić, as well as other people from the club. Thanks to another club and Zvezdan Terzić first of all, as well as Mitra Mrkela who believed when Dejan Stanković left that I was the one who could bring Zvezda the title in a historic season. We also took the double crown, I am friends with all of them above all, but I also respect the position of my superiors.
