Milojević: A competitive team will perform, we want the fans to enjoy themselves

Miloš Milojević spoke about the form of the Novi Sad team, but also the motive of the Red Star footballers to remain undefeated in the championship until the end of the season.

- Certainly it represents an additional motive, but the motive is always to win every game and that never changes, not even before tomorrow's match against Vojvodina, which is in a very good series. I expect a good game that the fans will enjoy as well - said Miloš Milojević.

Milojević was clear in his decision not to rest the players due to the upcoming semi-final of the Serbian Cup.

- We will not rest the players, until the end of the season we have five more possible games. I think we worked and trained so well that even without training and rest, we can play five games and play with eleven. We've never played with only 11 players before, we won't even now, we're happy with the young players, so we won't hold them back too much. We will try to find a good balance, not to be young or old, but to be a team that is competitive out of respect first of all for us and the fact that we want to win, and also for an opponent like Vojvodina, which is at the top of the table.

He praised our team's strategist, young Jovan Mijatović, and announced that he could be in the team against Vojvodina.

- Yes, each of the 25 can be in the team. We'll see what's best for him. I think we dosed his game very well, sometimes it is not so smart to play too much, he will play as long as he is ready. It is important that he feels good and that he worked well after scoring the goal against Voždovac, that increases his chances to play tomorrow.

Miloš Milojević recalled the previous game that the red and whites played against Vojvodina, but he did not agree with the media representative that the team from Novi Sad played openly.

- I don't think we were at the same game. Since they did not play openly, but were in front of their sixteen-yard box for most of the game and tried to threaten us with counterattacks, they did. I think the first 35 minutes were the best played, besides the game against TSC, but since everything is based on the result, they certainly played a good game and took a point from us at the Maracana. I expect them tomorrow as well, aggressive, good after a lost ball, to be direct, they have players who are very direct in attack, so I don't think we can beat them, nor can they surprise us.

He was interested in the media and the reason for the absence of Alex Vig in the previous matches.

- The absence is because we wanted to rotate, we wanted to try to see if we could get some things from Lazar more than we got from Vigo, we got something, we didn't. I think they are qualitatively very close to each other and that makes it both easier and harder for them to be able to play both.

The head of our team's coaching staff had a message for everyone who is interested in seeing Spajić on the field in the match against Vojvodina.

- That is a question you will get an answer to when you come to the game, cheer Spajić and applaud him.

The strategist of our team answered whether Azarov will be the first option in the position of left back until the end of the season.

- First or second doesn't matter. What matters is what we need in which game. We have two left backs, him and Rodić. We know what qualities Milan Rodić possesses and that he is quite tired after three or four years of playing without a substitute. We have the luxury of being able to rest him in some games, somewhere we need, somewhere more Azarov, these are all tactical things - concluded Miloš Milojević.
