Red Star footballers advanced to the semi-finals of the Serbian Cup after a better penalty kick performance, and Miloš Milojević pointed out that football, due to the great tragedy that happened this morning in Belgrade, was on the back burner.
- The tragedy that happened, without any justification, affected our motivation, our energy... However, despite that, we created many opportunities. Nevertheless, it is a cup, and those decisions in the penalty area of the rivals had to be better, to be more collective, to play each other and have a calmer game, this is how we got into the drama, but luckily for us and thanks to the good interventions of Borjan, we passed . That's the team, when the forwards don't go well, the defense does the job, I'm glad we're in the semifinals - Milojević said.
The fans were not at the game today, but the slogan was present: "May eternal glory be to the victims of the Ribnikar school".
- It's hard for us without fans, but I understand them. Football was in the background. It was very difficult. Condolences to the families of the dead and support for those who are fighting, definitely a sad day for Serbia and I hope it will never happen again. Football was a secondary thing today, I personally had weak focus and energy, which is not like me - Milojević said.
