Milijaš: We are eagerly awaiting the Champions League, we are ready for the start of the season

- More than a month has passed since I took over the team. We had time to get to know each other. We worked with high intensity, first preparing in Belgrade, and then in Vrnjačka Banja, and we fulfilled the goal we set during the preparations. I am satisfied with the control matches, but the most important thing is that we trained well. We know that in Red Star we always watch goals, but we still played friendly matches where we tried to show segments of the game from training. It is important that the boys did their best, and that they improved from duel to duel - said the former captain of Crvena Zvezda.

As part of the general rehearsal, our youth selection defeated Honved with a score of 0:3, and the young strategist openly points out that the team is ready for the start of the Youth League of Serbia.

- The match in Hungary rounded off the entire work before the start of the season. We are certainly ready for the start of the championship, and it is precisely through the matches in the Youth League of Serbia that we will prepare for the Champions League, which we are eagerly awaiting. The players are aware of the club they are playing for and the goals that have been set. The team is made up of young footballers and this was a change for them, the arrival of a new coach. The most important thing is that we made a great group, with a good atmosphere. In these years, mistakes are an integral part of football, there is often a drop in concentration, much more than in the first team.
