- Due to the excellent results of the first team of Crvena zvezda, the youth selection got a great opportunity to compete in the most prestigious European competition. We are pleased with the fact that we will play against excellent football academies, such as Manchester City, RB Leipzig and Young Boys who invest in the development of young players. The first duel is against the English representative and the current champion of Europe. A very demanding game awaits us, both physically and from the side of technical and tactical details. Regardless of the fact that we will meet a very strong rival, we will not shy away from anything. We have been preparing hard for the Youth Champions League matches and this will be an opportunity to test our strength against the best teams. For the players, this will be an ideal opportunity to present Red Star on the international stage, but also to demonstrate the talent that adorns them - said Nenad Milijaš.

The red and white juniors will train in Manchester on Monday before the duel that awaits them a day later at 4 p.m.
