Mijatović: Goals for self-confidence, we will repay the fans in the rest of the season

- The most important thing for a striker is to score goals, when that happens, self-confidence is at a high level. I am happy with the form. I got on the scoresheet in both the Youth Champions League matches against Manchester City and Young Boys. However, there was no time for rest, since two games against Italy with the national team were waiting for me. I showed a good game in the national team and with three goals in two matches I am returning to the club duties, I believe that with even better work in training I will fight for more playing time in the first team - said Jovan Mijatović.

The talented football player spoke about the upcoming challenges, as well as the support of the star player.

- Already on Wednesday, we have a match in the 1/16 finals of the Serbian Cup against Trial, and then we will play every three days. We will be ready for the not-so-easy schedule and pace ahead of us, with competition on all three fronts. We will be extremely careful, considering that the Serbian Cup is a competition in which only one game is played. Due to the international break, we are missing a large number of players, but we will be ready for the season to continue. We are Red Star players and that is enough motivation for us, along with the incredible fans who are always with us. I'm still impressed with the game against Young Boys. A full stadium is our greatest strength, we thank them for their support, we will repay them on the field - concluded Jovan Mijatović.
