Mijailović: Dignified and brave in the Champions League

- It is a great privilege and pleasure that, as direct participants in the Champions League, we represented Red Star at the draw in Monte Carlo. We wanted attractive opponents in accordance with the status of our club - European and world champions. We knew in advance that all the participants are very strong rivals. A huge fight awaits us in the upcoming challenges, in six tough duels. We will give everything in our power to represent Red Star heroically and with dignity, which throughout the club's history can boast of being the winner of the most prestigious team competition in Europe - said Mijailović.

Our club will compete in group G, which also includes Manchester City, RB Leipzig and Young Boys, and Mijailović believes in a brave edition of our team in the best competition in Europe.

- The first game awaits us already in the second half of September. We believe that the team will be ready, and that we will be in shape for the most demanding matches. The advantage is always on the side of our club when we play at home, because we perform in front of home fans who throughout history have contributed to Zvezda being one of the two clubs in Southeastern Europe that have lifted the Champions League trophy through numerous triumphs.
