Lucic: The support of teammates is crucial in the recovery process

- I am glad that I was part of the team during the preparations in Zlatibor, despite the fact that I worked under a special regimen in terms of recovery. However, I enjoyed spending time with my teammates. Despite being out of action since March, I am involved in everything related to the team on a daily basis. The support of my teammates in this recovery process means a lot to me, which is not easy at all, but I try to stay positive. I realized that all that is part of football and I think that the most difficult period is behind me. It wasn't easy for me in the last four months, but I really accepted over time the fact that I was injured and that I had to listen to the coaches and the people around me in order to come back as fit as possible. Of course, there is no rush to return to the field, the goal is for my knee to be completely ready, and personally I can't wait to wear Zvezda's jersey again and play at the Maracana - began Lucic.

He also spoke about expectations for the next season.

- A double crown is implied. As in the previous season, we want to show that we are the best team in Serbia. Of course, we also want to be competitive in Europe. We will play the group stage again in the fall, we will see which competition, but it will be a great experience for all of us - underlined Lucic.
