Katai became the best scorer in the Superliga and tied with Pančev!

Zvezda's 10 will forever remember October 18, 2024 and the match against Radnički from Niš. Katai stepped onto the Maracana field in the 56th minute of the game and managed to make history in just six minutes. Namely, the midfielder of our team with magic in his legs scored the first goal in the 59th minute, while just three minutes later he entered the list of scorers for the second time.

Katai scored the 104th goal of his career in the Super League with two goals against Radnički from Niš. Zvezda's Magico thus overtook Milan Bojović, who was the best scorer of the domestic championship to date with 103 goals. Aleksandar Katai scored 92 goals in the Crvena Zvezda jersey, while during the period of his career in Vojvodina, he shook the opponent's net 12 times.

In the match of the 12th round of the Super League of Serbia, the Star Ten managed to achieve even two historic results. In addition to becoming the league's best scorer in history, with 116 goals in competitive matches in the red and white jersey, Katai tied with Darko Pančev, who scored the same number of goals, and occupies the seventh position on the all-time list of Zvezda scorers.
