Cadets ready for the start of the season

"We are finishing the preparatory period, the championship is starting, the main thing that we are all eagerly awaiting. We are facing the fight for the title, which is a priority with the development of players. We have done a good preparation, with a few bad luck with injuries, but all that is passing and the best 18 will be in the protocol for the weekend. We expect three points and a good game of our boys - said Filip Ostojić. 

Our U17s will have a chance to defend the title they won this season.

- The atmosphere is great, the guys socialize, which contributes a lot to the work on the field, but they also show considerable seriousness, listen to the coaches and improve every day. Of course, the title from last season means a lot, but that's all forgotten. We turn a new leaf and are ready for a new beginning. 

The head coach's assistent - Slađan Nikolić believes that the cadet selection will live up to expectations this year as well. 

- I hope that this generation will show significant quality. Each next selection is better and better. We believe that this one will be even better than the previous one. This is what we strive for, we are working on it and that is always the goal - concluded Filip Ostojić.

Aleksa Petrović also spoke about the preparation period, but also the match of the first round of the Kadetska liga Srbije. 

"It's been five weeks of preparation. Of course, the team can't wait for the first game, we want to show that we have worked hard and that we have prepared well for the start of the season. Of course, it will mean to me to play this year with some teammates with whom I have been since I came to Crvena zvezda, I believe that we will live up to expectations ," said Aleksa Petrović. 

Aleksa Petrović believes that the efficiency of our team will be at a high level during the 2024/25 season. 

"I was at the very top of the list of scorers last season, I'm happy about that, of course, the most important are team goals. I will try to repeat that success and I wish the whole team good luck in the upcoming competition year ," said Aleksa Petrović.
