Đorđe Vranić stood out already in the fourth minute of the game, who very elegantly and calmly eliminated the first danger in front of Zvezda's goal. From the beginning of the match, Nikolić was looking for his teammates on the wing with long balls, and in the ninth minute he played fantastically past Zarić on the left wing, and created a great opportunity for him, but referee Dimitrijević ruled the position illegal.

After a great opportunity for Pajkić, Radanović brilliantly saved a shot in a one-on-one situation with the striker of the home team, and the result remained unchanged. The goalkeeper of Crvena zvezda came to the fore again. It was the 19th minute when he saved a shot from 20 meters away. After a free kick taken by Milašinović in the 22nd minute of the game, the ball was caught by the stopper Vranić with his head in the box, but it ended up near the post.

After several attacks by the players of Trajal, the players of Crvena zvezda completely "stood" on the ball and controlled the game in the middle of the field. They did not allow the players in yellow jerseys to play on counterattacks and calmly built actions, and gradually put more and more pressure on the last line of the team from Kruševac.

After a corner in the 75th minute of the game, Vranić caught the ball brilliantly with his head, but Marković managed to prevent Zvezda's complete turnaround with a real "parade". Just a few minutes later, Subotic again had a good chance to score, but his shot from eight meters was blocked. Sava Radanović prevented a good chance for the home team with his incredible intervention at the very end of the game.
