Jung Woo Seol presented at Maracana

Sports director of Crvena zvezda Mitar Mrkela gave us a closer look at the qualities of the new reinforcement.

- Seol is a left back, plays in a deficit position, and comes from South Korea. He has a lot of experience playing for Ulsan and the national team. We have been looking for a solution for the left back position for a long time and now we have found it. We also wanted him in winter, but then we failed to reach an agreement with the club. He also explained why the number 66.

- My father was born that year. Ever since my first pro game, I've been wearing 66. I asked Hwang to change the number and we agreed. I know he played well carrying 66 and I will do my best to live up to that. Hwang is a good friend of mine from the national team. We talked a lot about Zvezda and he introduced me to the culture of the club. I already know a lot about Zvezda.

He also talked about the fantastic fans of Red Star.

- I knew even before I talked to Hwang how big Zvezda was. I watched the matches in the Champions League, and actually in South Korea there is a lot of talk about the Serbian eternal derby. I am well versed in everything, and I can't wait to play in front of Zvezda's fans. I know how passionate they are and I will enjoy performing at a full Maracana - said Seol.
