Jovin: Zvezda will play on the wings of a full Maracana

- We played the second leg at the Maracana after the 5:2 defeat in Berlin. I remember we conceded as many goals from three corners, which is incredible. When it came time for the second leg, we played to at least win in front of a full Maracana and to leave the best possible impression on the fans. In the first half, we lost 0:1, which is a four-goal difference in the total score. In the second part of the game, everything went as it should, we started scoring goals. The Maracana got up and with the help of the star players we "ran over them" in the second half. In the last minutes, we scored the fourth goal and went on. The atmosphere after that goal was magnificent, there was real euphoria. The stadium was full, over 80 thousand people. It is also an interesting fact that after that difficult first round we reached the final of the UEFA Cup - said Jovin.

Mile Jovin believes that the star players will be the decisive factor on Wednesday, just like in 1978.

- We have a great chance to pass. Zvezda has a quality team, which is slowly improving its form. Bode is a good team, they had the support of the fans, but nowhere near as our players will have. They play in a small stadium, we should respect them and enter the game cautiously, but we should not be afraid of them. When they feel the roar of the Maracana, the cheering of Delhi and the whole stadium, I think they will succumb to the pressure. Zvezda will play on the wings of the fans and I believe that they will win and qualify for the Champions League. Delje is our 12th player, I am sure that he will "carry" the players from the first to the last minute - concluded Jovin.
