Jovan Šljivić new week for Crvena zvezda

- I am overjoyed that I have extended my contract with my beloved club and that today I am becoming the first team member of Crvena Zvezda, because it is something I have been dreaming about since I started playing football. I have never hidden how much I love Zvezda, and this will only further motivate me for everything that follows, both individually and as a team, and I am sure that these will be numerous successes. I am convinced that in the following season we will achieve outstanding results in all fields and show that Zvezda is at the highest possible level. I am also proud that I will wear number 7 in Zvezda, aware of how all the legends wore it before me, but I deeply believe that I will justify it all with good games - the seventeen-year-old playmaker will say with a smile.

Jovan Šljivić was born on October 14, 2005 in Kruševac, where he started training football, and he arrived at Zvezda as a thirteen-year-old and went through almost all the junior selections of our club, and his internship at the Youth School was crowned by winning the title in the Serbian Cadet League. Then followed the season in Grafičar, where he scored four in 12 matches and set up three more goals, which was a clear sign for the leaders of our club that the gifted player, who is best behind the attackers, should be assigned to the senior team. Šljivić is a standard representative of Serbia.
