Long ago as a child - Strahinja Eraković

The popular Čupa came to Crvena zvezda as a nine-year-old in 2010, went through the complete Youth School of our club, got to wear his favorite jersey as a first-team player and wear it in 139 matches, won three consecutive double crowns, spent two winters in Europe... All what Erakovic experienced at the Maracana is a dream to everyone who loves football and our Star. Now, Čupa is 22 years old, he is the most talented Serbian stopper, he is a standard first-team player and one of Zvezda's most trophy-winning footballers in the 21st century.

He made his debut against Novi Pazar on August 1, 2020 in a 3:0 victory for Zvezda. He settled in Dejan Stanković's team, and we can say that in the 2021/22 season, alongside Aleksandar Dragović, he became an irreplaceable screw in a historic season for our club. The big day for Čupa happened on September 30, 2021, when at 20 years and nine months he became the second youngest leader of the team in the 21st century when it comes to matches at the international level. The last match, Strahinja Erakovic played against Fenerbahce in the "Pari Cup", and said goodbye - with a trophy!

Although he has played as many as 107 competitive and 32 friendly matches in the red and white jersey, we believe that this is not the end of the story between Chupa and Crvena Zvezda, because Zvezda's child remains with his heart at the Maracana all his life.
