Talented young players, who play for the youth selection of Crvena zvezda - Veljko Milosavljević and Veljko Vukojević made their debut for the senior team in the match of the 1/16 finals of the Serbian Cup. The Director of the Youth School of FK Crvena Zvezda - Nikola Jelić proudly expressed his satisfaction with the first performance of the boys born in our club's football academy.
- We are extremely proud and happy about the debut performance of two young footballers. They received a lot of trust from the professional staff of the first team of Crvena zvezda, which should be deserved with quality and dedicated work. We, the leaders of Zvezda's football academy, are most pleased by the fact that through systematic work and gradual development, they reached the senior team. All of the above gives us satisfaction and confirmation that we are on the right path. Veljko Milosavljević is the prototype of a modern defender, i.e. a stopper with strong defensive and offensive characteristics. He positions himself well on the field, is good at reading the game, aerial duels, while on the other hand, he tends to participate in the game as much as possible. He creates attacks very well and opens the game, which is very important in today's football. The third is the youngest debutant at only 16 years old, we know that 2007 is the year, he has already written history, although we expect him to represent the future of our club in the coming years - pointed out Jelić.
In addition to the tall Milosavljević, his namesake Vukojević also realized a boyhood dream with his debut in the match against Trajal.
- Milosavljević arrived at the club as a child and has been part of Crvena zvezda for nine years, while Vukojević has been at the club for longer than four seasons. He was born in Šabac in 2006 and is considered one of the most talented young players. He does best as a winger, but he can also play as the most forward in a certain formation. He has phenomenal motor skills, speed, first step and excellent dribbling. He loves one-on-one situations, where he skillfully outwits his opponent. He scored a goal against RB Leipzig in the Champions League, which is just a reward for his hard work in the previous months, along with his first team debut of course. Also, both footballers are part of the "Elite School", because we are all aware that with talent and quality they can become part of the first team, but not only be with the teams but also leave their mark by performing for Crvena zvezda - Jelić concluded.
