- The season behind us was tiring, considering that we participated in numerous tournaments, fitting in the obligations in the championship, with a note that we had a large number of national team members, who were part of the selection at their age, and all that with a limited pool of players. In these six months, I managed to get to know each player individually and prepare them much more easily for what awaits us in the League of Junior Pioneers. I am satisfied with how well we managed to implement all the principles of the game and what we did in training during the season, but we could have done better, that's for sure. There is always room for improvement. I would like to mention again that we had a smaller pool of players who played the whole season - started Vučić.

The coach touched on the now younger pioneers of Crvena Zvezda and the preparation plan for the upcoming season.

- The plan is to go to Banja Luka for preparations on July 31, where we will stay for seven days and play two or three friendly matches. Before the start of the championship, we also have an international tournament in Croatia on August 20.

In addition to the little ones who defended the red and white jersey last season, Vladimir Vučić's team will be stronger by three pearls in the next season.

- As for the playing staff, among the boys who arrived this summer, there is a returnee - Ognjen Matanović, an offensive midfielder from whom I have high expectations, because he has an exceptional talent, as well as Petar Mijušković - a defensive midfielder from the Gauchos team. These are the guys we wanted to bring in, and we are certainly working on strengthening the team. Also, I must mention that a stopper has joined us from the younger selection - Lazar Jevtić, born in 2011, a kid with exceptional characteristics who will be heard about soon - concluded Vučić.
