- Impressions after the match with Čukarica are great, the boys were excellent in the difficult weather in the afternoon on the field behind the south stand of the "Rajko Mitić" stadium. The result could have been more convincing, but we are satisfied with the new championship victory. As we planned and envisioned the beginning of the season, it is coming true for us, and already on Saturday we are visiting Brodarac, and for that we will need additional preparation, if we take into account the date of the game, as well as the dimensions of the field, and we will do our best to let's be maximally focused and ready in order to continue the series of good games. I must mention that for the match against Čukarički we had bad luck when Nebojša Grujić was injured, but that was an additional motivation for my boys to play for him and dedicate another victory to him. This example speaks of the unity of the team, as well as the team spirit, and there is no doubt that we will be better and more specific from game to game. This summer, as a team, we spent 25 days together, in addition to the tournament we won in Russia, I can't help but mention the tournament in Bulgaria in Razgrad, as well as the preparations that preceded going to the competition that we won. It was in that period that we built a good chemistry and connection between the players and the coaching staff and there is no doubt that the cup gave us a wind at our backs, now we are full of confidence and we want to win every game, which is the most important thing when you are in Red Star. We are aiming to defend our national championship title, even though the end of the season is miles away, I am convinced that with this approach we will do great things.
