Marko Neđić was delighted with the way Andrija Maksimović, Andrej Petrović and David Đurić played in the season after us, in the Cadet League of Serbia, and handed them an invitation to the preparations of the senior team of Graphic Designers, where they made a great impression.
Andrija Maksimović is already widely known to the football public, considering that he is considered one of the most talented players in Serbia under the age of 18, and the fact that he was a starter in all the preparatory games speaks volumes for the trust he has with coach Marko Neđić. The question of the moment is when the offensive midfielder born in 2007 will get a chance in the first team of Crvena Zvezda.
- The trust of the head of the professional staff, Marko Neđić, means a lot to me. I believe that all three of us are at an age when we have to work even harder, absorb advice from more experienced people and strive to be better. It will be a great honor to play with the seniors, I'm really looking forward to it. Of course, I'm looking towards the first team of Zvezda, that's my big football dream, but I'm aware that I still have to improve. For now, work, order and discipline and the desire to help the Graphic Designer achieve the best possible results. I think we have a good team - said Maksimović.
Andrej Petrović, who is a year older than Maksimović, who plays somewhat more defensively, also managed to draw attention to himself during the preparations, and scored a goal against Hata and an assist against Inđija.
- I feel that I have improved after just this preparatory period, so I am looking forward to what follows and I believe that the games with the seniors will be of great importance for my football development. I fit in well with the team, the goals and assists only contributed to my additional relaxation on the field, as well as the advice of the coaching staff led by Marko Nedjić. There is a big difference between cadets and seniors, I think it's very clear, but I like playing faster, and I also think that the European Cadet Championship, which I recently played with the Serbian national team, helped me transition to the seniors. Of course, the dream is the first team of Zvezda - Petrović said.
Almost all the younger selections of our club have been played by the fighting left back born in 2006 - David Đurić.
- I am ready for the start of the new season, even though this is the most serious challenge for me so far. I'm glad that I immediately moved from cadet to senior, because it means that the club has confidence in me, and after these preparations, I have even more confidence that I can already contribute to the first team of Graficar. You can feel on the pitch how physically stronger the seniors are, but also how much more intense the intensity is, however, the way to the Zvezda first team leads through Grafičar, we have plenty of examples of that in the past, so I'm looking forward to following the beaten path. All this motivates me to work even harder and, with a little luck, one day play in front of a full Maracana - Đurić is clear.
They will have the opportunity to make their debut in senior football when it comes to official matches on Saturday at 20:00 when they host Metalac.
