Behind the south of Marakana - Tasić and Popović in red and white, Čukić a professional

Crvena zvezda continued to invest in young talents, and at the beginning of the summer transfer window, talented stopper Mihajlo Popović signed a professional contract. Young defender born in 2009 in Kljajićevo.

Immediately after the arrival of new reinforcements, four days later, the Crvena Zvezda Youth School became richer for another professional, Vesko Čukić, an offensive player born in 2009. The young talent originally from Beran arrived at our club in 2022, and with his excellent games and hard work, he lived up to expectations and got the opportunity to sign a contract with the red and whites.

- I am very glad that I signed my first professional contract with Red Star and I hope that I will repay the club by working hard in training and matches. The first to congratulate me was my family, which gives me the greatest support - Čukić said.

Crvena zvezda did not stop there with signings when it comes to young and talented footballers, so Nikola Tasić became a new face in our flock. It is about an offensive midfielder born in 2006 who arrived at Zvezda from Dubočica, where he played for seniors, and during the fall he will play for our youth team.

- It is certainly a good feeling to come to Crvena zvezda, the biggest club in the Balkans. It will mean a lot to me that I have already played senior football in my career, so I will try to transfer the experience to the rest of the team and justify the expectations. My biggest wish is to score a goal in the derby - said Tasic.

Zvezda will continue to be active in the transition period, for younger categories, because we expect new reinforcements for the new season soon.
