In memoriam - Tomislav Toma Milićević

Tomislav Toma Milićević was born on September 21, 1940. He spent eight seasons as a player in Zvezda, from 1960, when he arrived in Belgrade from Napredek from Kruševac, until 1968. After finishing playing, Toma Milićević started his coaching career. He became a famous "talent hunter" and a legendary coach of the younger categories of Crvena zvezda. 

He taught footballers good behavior, manners, as well as gentlemanliness and true chivalry, which was key to the formation of the famous generations of our club, who had the privilege of working with a great strategist.  

Numerous Zvezda legends were scouted, and after that they trained under Toma Milićević, including the head of our club's coaching staff - Vladan Milojević, but also aces like Dejan Stanković, Boško Janković, Marko Pantelić, Goran Drulić, Nikola Lazetić, Dušan Baste, Marko Grujić, Luka Jović, Strahinja Eraković...

Tomislav Milićević spent 42 years in his beloved club, where he established himself as a football player, coach and man of authority. Toma was a real pedagogue, always cordial, sometimes strict, but always fair. He will be remembered as a legend, who led many talents and young players to the right football and life path.
