Elšnik: Adaptation to the substrate is the key to a positive result

- Playing on artificial grass is different. I played more on such a surface in the younger categories than in the seniors. However, we played the previous game against Čukarički on the "artificial" surface, so we know what awaits us here, and we will also have training now, to additionally get used to the surface. It's different from normal grass, but it's the same for everyone who comes to play against Bode and we simply have to adapt - began Elšnik.

Now his compatriot and another big star - Vanja Drkušić - is in the team.

- It means to me that he is there, it means to him for sure. However, he knows what it's like to play abroad, has rich experience from Russia and easily adapts to new environments. In addition, he has roots in Serbia, he is a star player and he feels at home here.

Elšnik was introduced to the Bode team.

- I know a lot about the team, because my friend from Slovenia - Nino Žugelj plays in Bode. We follow each other, I also watched against Jagiellonia as it was, so I am familiar with the way Bode plays, who are the best footballers, what style of play they cultivate. It will be a difficult game, they play in Europe every year, they are domestic at this level, they also have good international players. Bode has a system, a clear division of roles, everything is strict, a lot depends on the coach. However, if we are at our best, I think we are favorites, and we came to Norway to achieve a positive result and then finish the job in Belgrade.

He did not want Elšnik to deal too much with tactics.

- That is more of a question for the coach. It is up to us to fight for every ball on the pitch. I don't know what to say about tactics, it's 50-50. We will see who will adapt to whom, but that is less important. The key is the passage to the Champions League - emphasized Elšnik.
