Dragović in the "100 club"

There is no doubt that the arrival of Dragović in Zvezda is one of the biggest transfers in Serbia in the 21st century. Then the Austrian national team member and standard participant of the Champions League or Europa League, with rich experience of playing in the biggest leagues on the Old Continent, decided to come to his Red Star and experienced it as the crowning glory of his career. A symbolic jersey with the number 100 was presented to him by our sports director Mitar Mrkela, and during that period Dragović also managed to be among the top scorers five times.

Dragović arrived at Zvezda in the summer of 2021, and since then has become an irreplaceable part and central figure in the team's defense, both for Dejan Stanković and Miloš Milojević. His great games in Europe will be remembered, but especially those in eternal derbies where he was an insurmountable obstacle for the offensive players of our biggest rival. Sliding starts, struggle, uncompromisingness, as well as attitude and character, led to the fact that Dragović has a cult status among star players.
