Dalcio Gomes presented at Maracana

- Dalsio comes from the Cypriot Apoel, and in his career he also played in Portugal and Greece. In one period of his career, he collaborated with coach Milojević, who greatly appreciates him and who suggested that we bring him. Milojević believes that Dalsio fits phenomenally into his game philosophy and that he will make a great contribution to our team in the coming seasons - started Mrkela and answered the present journalists about the situation regarding the arrival of Nemanja Radonjić.

- I have repeatedly emphasized that Radonjić is an excellent player. We know him well and are in constant contact. I would like him to come to Zvezda, to return to his club, but not everything depends on us. I hope that the situation will develop well and that he will wear the Zvezda jersey. This is the desire of both us and the large army of Zvezda fans - underlined Mrkela.

Dalsio gave his first impressions.

- Thanks to the club for bringing me. First impressions are great, this is a higher level of play for me and it's a dream come true for me to be part of such a big club. I want to play in the Champions League with Zvezda and I'm happy to be here. I am also happy to be working with coach Milojević again, who helped me a lot to improve as a player. I believe that everything will be fine - Dalsio began.

He also referred to the great fans of Crvena Zvezda.

- As soon as I signed, I received over a thousand messages on Instagram from Zvezda fans. I have never felt that in my life and I want to return their love through playing on the field.

He also revealed why the number 22.

- I took the number 22, because it is the day of my birth, as well as my daughter's.

He has rich international experience.

- In Greece I played in smaller teams, but in Cyprus I played in teams that are aiming for the title. I know what the league is like in Serbia, it will not be easy at all, but I am ready for all challenges.

He is a versatile player, and he revealed to us where he feels best on the field.

- Milojević always told me that I can play anywhere on the field, but personally I feel best as an "eight".

Dalsio was introduced to the Zvezda team, and he also revealed that he knew Kanga.

- I watched some Zvezda matches, so I know what awaits me. It is interesting that for the national team I played against Kanga, who is an excellent player, I think we are similar guys. I don't like to talk about myself a lot, I want to show myself on the field - Dalsio concluded.
