Barak Bahar's chosen team did not open the match in a completely new formation than usual. The game was played in the 22nd minute when Spajić brought down Adetunji in his own penalty area, then Milanović awarded a penalty for Čukarički, and Docić was accurate from the penalty spot in the 24th minute of the game. Crvena Zvezda had a 100% chance in the 32nd minute, when Ivanić ran brilliantly on the counter and played past Endiaj, who did not catch the ball in the desired way, and the result remained unchanged. Only a minute later, Ivanić sent a bomb towards the Čukaricki goal from about thirty meters away, but Samurović managed to tame his shot. In the 36th minute of the game, we saw a combination of the best on the field, Zvezda's "four" and Olanjinka, when the Nigerian lacked a better finish from a difficult situation. Kosta Nedeljkovic had the last chance for Crvena Zvezda in the first half, but the ball went over his leg.
Crvena Zvezda started the second half extremely aggressively, and already in the 47th minute, Endiaje was brought down in the Čukaricki penalty area by Tošić, and a minute later Kraso was accurate from the penalty spot. The representative of Ivory Coast sent the ball to one side and Samurović to the other side and leveled the score. In the 52nd minute, we saw a good attack by the home team, when Glazer's post shook after Ivanovic's shot. Crvena zvezda continued with the offensive, and Lučić tried a shot from the edge of the penalty area to Ivanić's pass, but it was an easy prey for the goalkeeper Čukaricki. Ivanić continued with a great game, and his shot was stopped by Samurović with the utmost effort in the 57th minute. Moments later, Bucari found Endiaje from the outside, who failed to find the back of the net.
In the 73rd minute, Bukari tried his shot from the right side diagonally from ten meters, but it shook only the outer part of the net. Just two minutes later, Čukarički took the lead again through Adetunji. In the third minute of stoppage time, Lučić, after several good moves, shot from a not so easy position, but the ball ended up over the home team's goal. Despite the constant attacks of Crvena Zvezda until the end of the match, we did not manage to equalize the score, and Čukarički won with 2:1.
