Crvena zvezda presented a check of 50,000 euros to the National Kitchens in Kosmet

- It is a great honor and pleasure to be able to present a check for 50,000 euros on behalf of Crvena zvezda today to the public kitchens in Kosmet. The history and tradition of Crvena zvezda obliges us to always and everywhere be with the Serbian people, because we are a national club. Zvezda helped churches and monasteries in Kosmet this year as well, and we will continue to do so and help wherever there are Serbian people. Today we handed over aid to the National Kitchens and, as I said, we will continue to help the Serbs, just as the Serbian people and fans from Kosmet are cheering Zvezda. We are aware of all the problems that our compatriots are dealing with in Kosmet and we are proud of them for solving all problems with their heads held high. Zvezda will always be there with them, on their centuries-old hearths - said the General Manager of Crvena Zvezda Zvezdan Terzić.

Svetlana Stević, president of the non-governmental organization "Mother of the Nine Jugovics of the Diocese of Raško-Prizren" thanked for the donation, who pointed out that our club has been helping the Serbian people in Kosmet for years.

- I am very pleased to be here today and thank you for the great reception. This was a big surprise for us and we thank everyone who decided to help the work of National Kitchens in Kosmet, which has been going on for 22 years. I must point out that the cooperation was current in previous years as well, and that it is not the first time that Zvezda has helped us, because they have saved us from being closed many times before. This shows how much they care about the Serbian people in Kosmet and how much their love is for us who live and survive there. This donation is important to us, because we prepare 2300 meals, that is cooked food and bread, and we also make sure that people have firewood, children have clothes and school supplies, so about all the basic things that a person needs to survive. The help will be of great benefit to us, but also to the families themselves, because we are the guarantee that they have food, and when a person is full, then all problems fall easier on him. Zvezda has also helped before through monetary donations and sending humanitarian aid in the form of food and everything necessary for the work, and I must also mention the "Delije" fan group, which to this day takes care of the National Kitchen in Kosmet and Serbian families in the form of purchasing agricultural machines, livestock purchases, furnishing and all that which we need to be able to survive these difficult days. Kosmet is wholeheartedly with Zvezda and it will always be like that. We wish Red Star to prosper, and we will pray to God to protect us and bless Red Star - said the president of the organization.
