Hwang opened the game with a shot from distance in the third minute and announced the determination of the red and whites, who came out attacking against a respectable opponent with the desire to get to the goal as quickly as possible. It seemed that long-range shots were the starting point of Barak Bahar's team, because Ivanić also duly tormented Simić with a shot from 20 meters in the eighth minute. The walls of the visitors really made it difficult for our footballers to get a chance, so the closest to that was Stamenić in the 20th minute who attempted a header, although the ball was mostly in Lucic's possession, and it was mostly played on the left flank.
It was not pleasant in the 25th minute when Čalusić hit Nedeljković, and the young defender with a turban on his head had to leave the field and give way to Nikolic. It was dangerous in front of Glazer's goal in the 27th minute when Jovanovic had a zicer after Ćirković's cross, but the Israeli goalkeeper stood out with a "handball" intervention and thus lifted the team even further. Zvezda fought back in the 32nd minute from the counter, when Hwang masterfully sent Bukari to the right flank, and he crossed for Lućić, who shot over the goal from the drop. Despite the "victory" in front of the visitors' goal, the break went goalless.
As the first half began, so did the second half. A strong block by TSC, and Zvezda trying to get the lead with shots from distance, so the ball after Hwang's attempt in the 48th minute ended up near the goal. Olanjinka almost took advantage of Đorđević's hesitation in the 52nd minute, but he shot over the goal, practically from the box, but Zvezda had another possible opportunity through Ivanić, practically in the next attack. The ball reached the midfielder from Bački Jark after the penetration of Stamenić, and he wanted to lob Simić with his fingertips and in that situation shot over the goal.
Bukari looked for and found space in the 65th minute when he entered the middle from the left side, but shot straight into Simic's hands. Bahar was looking towards the bench, so he made a triple change and sent Mijatović, Kraso and Endiaje onto the field, and a little later Katai, all with the desire to find a way to the goal of TSC, who constantly defended and practically played a double block in front of his naked. The ball whizzed over the crossbar when Hwang shot in the 76th minute, and already in the next attack Lucic could have given our team an advantage, but he shot at Simic. Katai also tried to hit the first corner from a similar position, obliquely from the left side in the 79th minute, but Simić read the intention.
However, Zvezda deserved to score, and it happened in the 84th minute when Aleksandar Katai scored. There was a crowd in the penalty area, Mijatović hit the post, and the ball fell straight on the head of Katai, who beat Simić. However, the final result was set by Đakovac in stoppage time.
