The guests, through constant pressing, made it difficult for the footballers of our team to bring the ball out of the last line and to create something more concrete. Exactly as a result of that, Simmons' goal arrived in the eighth minute when, after a solo penetration, he entered the penalty area and hit the far corner. Zvezda tried to retaliate through Bukari when Rodić crossed to him in the 11th minute, but the ball, after a header from the Ghanaian attacker, ended up near the post. Even more dangerous for Leipzig was in the 17th minute when Mijailović crossed and Blasvič dropped the ball, but was a millisecond faster than Ivanić's sliding start and managed to correct his own mistake.

He saved Glazer Zvezda in the 44th minute after deconcentration in the defense, when Openda won the ball and went in front of him, but he tried to dribble, which our goalkeeper did a great job of. Soon Forsberg also had a chance, but he shot over the goal from a few meters away.
