Barak Bahar's team started the match in the right way and imposed a rhythm from the start. Ivanić had the first serious opportunity for applause from the stands, who, after a solo breakthrough in the fifth minute, shot from the near corner, but he just missed shaking the Radnicki net. Only two minutes later, Zvezda's "four" from the left flank sent a usable pass to the guests' penalty area, but Endiaje did not manage to catch the ball in the desired way. The moodiest on the field - Mirko Ivanić scored a goal in the 13th minute to give Crvena zvezda the lead after a set-off and a previously great action by the red and whites. Mitrović and Hwang combined brilliantly on the left side, who found Kraso, whose shot was blocked, while Ivanić was in the right place and headed the ball into the undefended part of the net. It was the 21st minute when Hwang sent a great cross from the corner, and Mijailović was the highest in the jump, but Rosić managed to intervene with his utmost efforts.

There were no more serious events until the 71st minute, when Hwang shot from a distance, but not strong enough to beat Rosic.

Endiaje had a new chance for Zvezda in the 80th minute, when he was brilliantly handled by Hwang, but his shot went wide. Hwang sent a brilliant cross into the guests' penalty area from a free kick in the 86th minute, but Ivanić's header ended up in the hands of Rosić.
