The match began with a minute's silence, and in that way the victims of the tragedy in Novi Sad, as well as the victims of the floods in Valencia, were honored.

Crvena zvezda entered the match very well, so our strikers were able to score in the fourth minute of the match. Alone in front of Peña, Elšnik broke through, shaking the net in a one-on-one situation with the Barcelona goalkeeper. However, the Slovenian national team player found himself in minimal offside, and the main referee from Norway canceled the goal. It was the eighth minute when Jamal tried to checkmate our goalkeeper with a shot inside the penalty area, but Marko Ilic intervened brilliantly.

In the 13th minute of the match, Barcelona took the lead through Martinez. Rafinha slyly shot from a corner in the 19th minute, and Marko Ilić prevented the Brazilian with the help of the goal post in an attempt to surprise him. Kanga crossed from the left flank two minutes later, but Peña managed to get the ball in front of Endiaye and Silas.

The brave play of our first team paid off in the 27th minute, when the quick-footed Silas eluded the stoppers of the team from Catalonia, and checked Peña with a beautiful "stab". Before that, Krunic sent a phenomenal final pass, while Silas showed the class and instinct of a real striker in a routine performance in front of the rival's goal for an eruption of enthusiasm at the Maracana.

Just six minutes later, Endiaye could have scored when he went diagonally to the right towards Barcelona's goal, but after excellent dribbling, he failed to hit the goal frame. However, even if the Senegalese had shaken the net, the goal would not have been recognized due to an illegal position.

A very accurate shot by Jamal, which went under the crossbar, was stopped by the lively Marko Ilić in the 40th minute of the match. Barcelona took the lead again through Lewandowski in the 43rd minute. He tried a shot from Kang in the first minute of stoppage time, but the guests were well positioned in the block, and the ball ended up in the corner.

In the continuation of the game, Barcelona was the first to threaten in the 48th minute. Lewandovski headed the far corner on Pedrije's cross, while Marko Ilić successfully intervened with an excellent parade. In the 53rd minute, Lewandowski scored for 1:3. After 120 seconds, Barcelona scored another goal through Rafinha.

Vladan Milojević's team tried to reach the rival's goal through transitions, especially through the physically dominant Silas and Endiaje. Kanga crossed from a free kick in the 64th minute, while Krunic and Endiaje had opportunities, unfortunately the referee awarded a foul in the attack. The guests scored their fifth goal in the 76th minute of the game, and the scorer was Lopez.

The first team of Crvena Zvezda did not give up, and managed to score the second goal of the match. In the 84th minute, after attractive dribbling, Felicio Milson beat Peña in a very effective way, with a shot into the far corner and set the final score of the game.
