FC Crvena zvezda continues with the activities regarding the summer transfer window and we are very pleased to announce that the new striker of our club - Bruno Duarte, who signed a three-year contract and borrowed the number 17 jersey.
The sports director of Crvena zvezda - Mitar Mrkela - was the first to congratulate our new striker.
- We talked during the transfer window that we wanted to bring in another striker and we decided on Bruno Duarte, yesterday's centre-forward of Farense. A successful season is behind him, he scored 13 goals in a strong championship and he will be a great reinforcement for us. The profile of the player is different from Endiaje, and we have a tough championship ahead of us with a large number of games, and we wanted to bring in this type of striker like Duarte. Only ready players who can immediately contribute to results and goals come to Zvezda, and Duarte is an experienced footballer and wherever he played - he scored goals, and I believe that he will continue in that manner in the red and white jersey. I expect him on the field right away, because he went through preparations with Farense and I believe that through the Super League he will get in shape and be what we expect from him - emphasized Mrkela.
Duarte was full of positive impressions after signing the contract with Zvezda.
- Zvezda is a big club and I am happy that I came because this is in line with my ambitions. I feel ready to play, and I want to get to know my teammates as soon as possible and start scoring goals. I've had good preparations, and I'm physically ready. I know what style of play Zvezda cultivates, that it is an attacking and aggressive team, which always strives to score as many goals as possible, and that suits me. The message for the fans is that I will do my best to achieve great results through good work. I can't wait to play - concluded Duarte.
Bruno Duarte was born on March 24, 1996 in Sao Paulo, and after passing through almost all the junior selections of the local giants, he played for the youth of Palmeiras.
