Bahar: We will be even faster and more efficient

Media representatives were interested in whether the strategist of our team is familiar with the work of the head of the coaching staff of the Spartak team, considering that, along with the Israeli expert, he is the only foreign coach in the Serbian Super League.

- I heard about the coach of Spartak and I am familiar with the facts that were necessary for me to prepare for the match. We did not have the opportunity to meet as players on the field - said Barak Bahar .

The coaching staff of Crvena zvezda worked hard to prepare for the match against Spartak.

- Our coaching staff analyzed the opponent, as it does before every game. I would not highlight the weak or strong points of the upcoming rival, this is not the time for that. I am focused on the game and my team.

Bahar spoke about Aleksandar Katai and Mirko Ivanić, Zvezda footballers who are recovering from injuries.

- Katai has a great desire to return to the field and to the normal training process. For now, he is working with the team, but still as a joker, not at full intensity. We expect him to return to normal training with the team in the next week or maybe even two. As for Ivanić, we thought he would have recovered by now, but he needs a little more time, we believe he will be ready next week.

The Israeli expert also referred to Gelor Kanga's good performance against Mladost from Lucca.

- Kanga trains well, works hard, of course he is equally important for the team as all the other players.

Barak Bahar also answered the journalist's question about potential reinforcements.

- I am talking with the club management, if we find a player who can improve the team, he will become part of Red Star.

The head of our team's coaching staff is sure that convincing victories in the championship will not cause the players to relax, who will be maximally prepared for the highest quality European competition.

- We did not reach the previous results easily, no victory is easy. Players work hard to achieve triumphs. We will have time to adapt to the opponents in the Champions League, we started to train on the main pitch of the "Rajko Mitić" stadium. We work dedicatedly with a high intensity of training, so that by the first match of the Champions League we will be fully ready.

Barak Bahar revealed what Zvezda's first team members will be working on the most in the upcoming period.

- There are good and bad sides in every game and team. We are trying to keep what is good, which is the high pressing and the high number of goals we score. Of course we want to be even faster, in the previous match we could have been more efficient, that is something we will work on, in order to improve our game. I am satisfied with the approach of the players, their relationship and work in training - concluded Barak Bahar.
