Andrej Đurić extended his contract with Red Star

- I am the happiest man in the world. I am extremely glad that I am extending my contract with Zvezda and I hope that I will fight for a place in the team, with the desire to stay there. I have already made my debut and now my dreams are a little bigger, they are about trophies, derbies, the first goal and I hope to fulfill them all. I trained with the team, all my teammates are happy to see me again, they welcomed me and I thank them for that. I was standard in Slovenia, that's one page in my career, but now it's time for a new one and I hope that everything will be as it should be. The most important thing for every player is to play, especially a young one in the position of stopper, so I have gained experience and I believe that Zvezda now has a better footballer than a year ago. I followed the club of course, I think that Zvezda has never been this powerful and that we have many great players. We have conceded only one goal so far, this means that the defense works great and that the competition is healthy, and it is up to me to fight for a place in the team - said Đurić.

Andrej Đurić was born on September 21, 2003 and completed the entire Crvena Zvezda Youth School. After winning the Cadet League of Serbia, and then the Youth League of Serbia with the captain's armband, the offspring of the generation led by Marko Neđić from the bench, moved to our development team Grafičar where he took his first senior steps. This was followed by a promotion to the first team of Crvena zvezda, where he made three appearances under Dejan Stanković, and a new temper in the Domžal jersey, where he stood out as one of the best footballers in the Slovenian championship.
