We were beaten by an inspired Tottenham Hotspur side in North London on a night when hardly anything went right for Vladan Milojević's men. It was a humbling 5-0 defeat at the hands of last season's finalists.

All talk of a crisis at Spurs proved void inside the opening ten minutes as the hosts showed they are going to make our evening as uncomfortable as possible. Harry Kane headed them in front after a Erik Lamela’s ninth minute corner, while Son hammered in the second seven minutes later following a fine cross from in-form Lamela.
After conceding the second goal, our team started to look a lot better and kept the ball while creating a couple of decent chances. However, Milunović’s header was held easily by Gazzaniga, while Mateo’s shot from the edge of the area flew just off target.
Marko Gobeljić had a couple of shots in quick succession on 37 minutes, but Ben Davies blocked his initial shot before our tireless all-arounder blasted the rebound into the feet of Marko Marin who couldn’t react quickly enough to steer it on target. It was our best chance of the first half.
On the other side, the hosts managed to grab the third just before the break as Son used his blistering pace to get away from all our defenders and finish one on one past Milan Borjan.
Erik Lamela got his goal on 57 minutes with a neat turn and shot from around the penalty spot. It flew into the roof of the net leaving Borjan with no chance whatsoever.
Marko Marin came very close on 70 minutes with a lovely curling shot from inside the box, but unfortunately it sailed just wide of the far post.
Just a couple of minutes later, Harry Kane applied a smart low finish into the low corner to make it 5-0 and complete the scoring in what has been a difficult night for the Champions.
