Vladan Milojević picked a team with two strikers for this match and it proved fruitful as one of them got on the scoresheet early on. Milan Pavkov made it 1-0 after Marković could only beat Tomané’s strike away.
The lead was doubled five minutes before the break as Marko Marin converted a penalty, but Milan Perendija made it 2-1 on 66 minutes, also from the spot. Between those two goals we’ve seen some opportunities on either side, with Milan Pavkov getting the closest with a header.
Marko Gobeljić scored a rare goal 15 minutes from time to ease any nerves and make it 3-1 with a low shot into the far corner. This effectively ended the match, but there were still chances for Van La Parra and Pankov. However the scoreline remained 3-1 as the team turns to Tuesday’s Champions League match at Tottenham Hotspur.
