Dejan Joveljić kept his place in attack, while Abraham Frimpong started at centre back with Srđan Babić suspended. Meanwhile, the ever-present Filip Stojković remained on the bench as Marko Gobeljić produced an eye-catching display at right back.

The match started slow in the heat and sunshine, but is gathered some pace in the opening 20 minutes. It was the hosts who scored first as Arsić curled a lovely ball into the top right corner of Borjan's net to the delight of home fans.

The Belgrade side made their first chance count as Nemanja Radonjić created some space for himself and stabbed home to level the match on 38 minutes.

Vojvodina's Nigerian midfielder Vincent Eze nearly restored the lead just minutes later, but he couldn't hit the target when presented with a free header from just six meters out.

Second half brought some more action as both teams charged forward. Vojvodina were inspired today, but Zvezda's quality in depth was the difference. Hajdin, Srnić and Milić came on during the second period and it was the latter who made instant impact when he steered Gobeljić's low cross beyond Rockov to give Zvezda the lead with 15 minutes to go.

Vladan Milojević's side defended well until the final whistle, preventing Vojvodina from creating any real chances.

The match was seen out with some ease as Zvezda made it six wins out of six.

The final game of the season will be played on Saturday, 19 May when Voždovac arrive to Rajko Mitić Stadium for a Champions party!
