Crvena zvezda Head Coach Vladan Milojević was pleased with his team's display in the 4-0 win over Spartak on Saturday night.
"We produced a good performance despite the strange conditions. It was so strange to play in silence, without any fans in the stands, but we did well."
The boss was full of praise for his, but also for Spartak players.
"They play a modern, European brand of football. They have been doing that all season. Credit to them and their coaches."
"I told my players that the season isn't over even though we've secured the title. There are still games to play and we want to win them all. We owe it to ourselves and to the fans. We must be professional and we must understand that there is something to play for in every match."
Our Head Coach rarely speaks about individual performances, but this time he made an exception. The reason, of course, is Dejan Joveljić and his first senior goals.
"Joveljić is a gem. I'm proud to coach these lads, but they all have a long way to go. They must continue to work and improve. We are lucky to have our academy, where serious work is being done. It's a great environment for our youngsters. Luka Adžić and Luka Ilić are just some of the examples. There is potential at the club."
Milojević was also asked to comment on his future and reports that he is set to sign a new contract with Crvena zvezda.
"It's all clear. The will to continue is there, the road to success that we all embarked on. It's important to remain on that road and ensure stability. There were offers elsewhere, but you have to listen to your heart. I do listen to my heart and my heart loves Crvena zvezda. Everyone knows that. We're staying together!"
