Vladan Milojević and his players will have another difficult test when Čukarički make the short trip to Rajko Mitić Stadium. A win against Nenad Lalatović's side would put Crvena zvezda within touching distance of the title.
Comorian forward El Fardou Ben Nabouhane seems to be hitting form in the best time of the season and has already established himself as an integral part of Vladan Milojević's team.
“I signed for this club because I wanted to play regularly, to score goals and win titles. It's all going according to plan. I'm trying to improve with every passing training session and with every game I play. Winning the league is our aim and it would be great to finish off the season with a trophy. But before we get to lift trophy we will have to win at least a couple more games. We must stay focused and professional if we are to reach our goal. The only way to do that is to think about the next game and nothing else. Right now, Čukarički is our only concern.”
The mood in the red-and-white camp is positive following two big wins against Partizan and Radnički.
“After the Večiti derby victory we were all very happy, but it was important not to celebrate too much. We needed to be calm in Niš because Račnički are a very good team. We deserved the points, that is for sure. On a personal note, I feel I could have done better. I did score, but I also missed a couple of good chances. It's all about pushing yourself to get better now.”
Ben and Aleksandar Pešić complement each other well and it shows on the pitch because the forwards both score, but also provide assists.
“Yes, we are getting to know each other now, but we're doing well. He passed the ball to me and helped me to score. Team work is certainly paying off.”
